Who We Are
Hello there, The-Vault is essentially a book reviewing website. The meaning behind our name is that it is your personal vault of books – you can pick up any book you like and discard the ones you don’t. We aim to provide you with a wide choice so that readers from each genre can enjoy it.
We also have the distinction of being the first such website in India. It first started as a summer project by two sisters in April 2011. In the last year, it has come a long way with over twenty highly professional reviewers and four hundred book reviews. Today, we are in close connection with the publicists of most of the major and minor publishers in India.
Why The-Vault
The answer is simple. T-V is different from the several hundred reviewing websites out there. Firstly, this is not some nineteen year old’s personal blog who reviews books on the side. It is not also an e-zine which has movie reviews, book reviews along with food reviews. Instead of branching out, the entire team is concentrated on one thing: books. And that is where we branch out. In addition to reviews, we have interviews, contests, blog tours, featured authors and many other features.
Another thing which gives us an edge over other such websites is the diversity of our reviewers. While some of our reviewers have advanced degrees in the English language, others are fourteen year old students. If we get a memoir to review, we are not going to give it to someone who reads mostly chick-lit. This way, she may not even like the book and it won’t be the book’s fault. To avoid this, we have appointed reviewers according to their preference and ability for every genre and sub-genre.

Our Review Policy
The-Vault is an upcoming and growing website, and we don’t believe in preset notions. Hence we accept books from most genres to review, except the following:
- Children’s Books/Picture Books
- Christian Fiction
- Fitness
- Guides (food/travel/etc)
- Middle Grade Fiction
- Poetry (Usually)
- Self-Help
- Short Stories (A collection would do, though).
Rest assured, the best reviewer for your book would be selected by the editors, and you can expect an honest critique. We obsess about the little details but are wise enough to make allowances where deemed worthy.
Just because we are an assorted group of barely adults and barely teens does not mean we don’t know how to deliver. Visitors are most welcome to peruse through our existing collection of books and judge for themselves. Continue Reading…

Any email sent to any of my account is received in one inbox, and I use another email addresses to protect my real id.

I really don’t have words to eulogize you, your work…!! I too am an addictive book reader and can stay up whole night to finish a good one and Take One More Chance is something that kept me awake till 4 in the morning. I couldn’t help not keeping the book down even for a second. I have become your fan and especially the sarcastic one liners are amazing. I have read it at least 6 times (no exaggeration). Some of the lines are so impressively drafted that they have got permanently embedded in my mind ( not to mention, even heart).
